Arts & Crafts style limed oak bedroom suite by the English makers Fyne Ladye of Banbury c.1950. Comprising two small wardrobes (36″ and 48″ wide – the smaller fitted with a bank of shelves inside), a pair of bedside cabinets, a tall chest of drawers, pointed arch mirror and dressing stool. Reminiscent of the Arts & Crafts antique furniture produced by Heals & Co. with attractive limed solid oak frame and veneered panels and sides with carved detail to the cornices, door and drawer fronts. Turned and carved knobs, unusual detail at the foot and decorative iron hinges. Solid mahogany drawer sides. Very good condition with original labels.
