Shops and virtually any business that dealt with the public and trade alike found that manners, courtesy, civility and individual attention were everything 'back in the day' and placards such as this would be discreetly displayed.
This one measures about 12 by 9 1.2 inches and although showing evidence of its years of use is in pretty good condition.
