Late Victorian Gents Leather Travelling Case
A late Victorian Gentleman's travelling case.
The exterior is leather, the interior is lines with a green silk watermark taffeta.
The included items are several silver plate containers for soap and shaving tools etc. 4 silver plate topped glass jars.
Silver topped bottle for cologne.
A set of manicure items in a leather wallet.
A writing folder with blotting paper, used, showing the amount of letters the Gentleman must have written.
Leather wash kit with brushes, comb and manicure items.
Also a matching leather wash kit with brushes, comb and manicure items.
On the lid there is a bracket for holding a mirror, the original one has long gone and there is a faux ivory mirror and an ebony mirror. There is also a faux ivory shoe horn and a pen just waiting for it's nib.
Condition...
The case was originally a dark green colour but this has worn over the years and is nearly black. Traces can be found in the interior.
The silver topped cologne bottle has a crack in the silver lid - repaired many years ago.
The mirrors have some foxing.
The catches for the case do not work.
In a well used condition but still a rather fetching piece.

Sending parcels abroad we use parcel2go, we always fully insure each parcel and use signed for delivery.

RETURNS...
We will gladly accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is not as described or broken in transit.
However, if you just simply change your mind and there is nothing wrong with the item then we do not accept returns.
