This fabulous domed travelling trunk is perfect for storing treasures or Christmas decorations. Dating from the late 19th century, it is made of wood, with a surface finish of painted tin. Pressed metal decorations and wide wooden straps lifts this trunk out of the ordinary. The original paper lining of the interior is in lovely condition. One of the leather handles, whilst still in place, is broken. Circa 1890.
