Late 19th century/early 20th century Abyssinian shotel sword. Has a three piece horn grip with a silver coin pommel. Broad, double edged broad sword blade with two central fullers. One side has a large inscription and marked MK and with the lion of Judah. Other side marked with the head of Menelik II and with floral decoration to both fullers. Slight warping and pitting to blade but in good sound condition overall.

Approximately 98cm overall and blade 85cm.
