Compact mirror vintage Kigu powder compact

A beautiful unused convertible Kigu compact mirror with the all gilt jeweller's / jeweler's finish for which Kigu were noted. The lid is decorated with a cartouche which has banded circular borders & a another border with engraved floral motifs - very pretty! The lid opens to reveal a perfect mirror & a powder well fitted with the original instruction leaflet which is pristine. The original Kigu sifter is in place & it is signed 'KIGU PLUS PETENTED 67'. The compact is signed 'KIGU ENGLAND'. The base has the typically ornate guilloche engraving.

This vintage compact mirror measures 3" & weighs 68.5 grams.
