Large Chinese mid 20th.c. mahogany coffee table c.1960. 49½” x 29″ top inlaid in mother of pearl with an Oriental scene of birds and tree blossom, note how the different coloured shell is used to great effect in the design. The inlay is continued on the cleated sides and corners. Over a deep moulded and shaped apron and raised on short shaped legs with caved claw feet. Very good condition with some wear to the original finish. Solid and sturdy, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
