Fabulous Edwardian era cased pike. A 3′ long fish with a vicious set of teeth presented in a glazed and ebonised case with superb naturalistic setting with moss, reeds and rushes and even a large dragonfly. Sold together with the original certificate from the Whitchurch Angling Society dated February 26th 1907 and recording the fish as having been caught by one W.W Sherbrooke at Ossmere Cheshire when it was weighed at 21lb. Excellent original condition.
