A superb large antique Georgian period mahogany console / writing table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790-1810 period.

It is of wonderful quality, it is a great size and it is nicely designed. The mahogany displays a wonderful patina and gorgeous colour tones. There are two drawers with brass ring pull handles, this stands on tapered legs terminating in original brass casters.

We have had it re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age. There are just some minor marks and indentations remaining beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
