Here we have a very rare mid 19th century irish teapoy

this piece comes from killarney and has the very distinctive inlaid decoration of shamrocks

it is truely a stunning piece. The top lifts to reveal 4 lidded compartments where the different types of tea would have been kept , unfortunately the central mixing bowl is missing
