A JW Benson 9Kt gold wristwatch, made in Switzerland in 1950 and hallmarked for Birmingham 1950 with an ALD case. Please see pictures.

DIAL: The colored dial has Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has nice hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed: “JW Benson, London, Swiss Made”.

MOVEMENT: The Swiss movement has 15 jewels and is in good working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “JW Benson, London, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made”.

CASE: The movement lies in a 9Kt yellow gold ALD case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is stamped for 9 Kt gold: 0.375. and signed: JW Benson, ALD and numbered: 342179. The case is hallmarked for Birmingham 1950.
