John Forrest Silver Full Hunter Pocket Watch
Sterling silver full hunter pocket watch by John Forrest measuring 54.7 mm in diameter and dating to c1907.
White enamel dial signed 'John Forrest, London, + Logo' witrh black Roman numerals, gilt steel spade hands and subsidiay seconds dial.In excellent condition having no hairlines, chips or discolouration.
The full hunter case bearing hall marks for Chester, 1907 and the sponsor's mark for The Lancashire Watch Co. The sprung front cover opens when the button on the crown is depressed and is decorated with an intricate engraving with vacant central cartouche within a rose gold surround. The back cover with a similarly intricate engraved finish. Overall, the case is in excellent condition having no dings or scratching of note and very little wear. The hinges are good and the covers open and close as they should.
The gilt lever movement signed 'John Forrest, London and numbered 790728 in pristine condition and working order. We only accept payment via PayPal as we do not have the facility to process payments by other methods.
