A rosewood stick barometer with a mercury bulb thermometer and scale. An adjustable Vernier scale to the main dial. Bevelled glass to the main dial and a mercury thermometer box to the case. Julius Sax of London is recorded in Banfields' 'Barometer Makers and Retailers' book as working at a Hatton Garden address in 1863.
