Rare 19th century Inuit figure/doll,c1890. Beautifully carved from caribou bone the central torse is carved from one piece and the limbs are attached with bone dowels/pins. It has a lovely primitive quality and the bone has aged well with great colour/patina following years of handling. Overall condition is very good with no obvious defects.
