Henry Fielding, The History of Tom Jones, A Foundling.
In four volumes (bound together in one). Printed for Harrison & Co. 1787. Ilustrated.
Later half leather binding, with leather spine and corners and cloth boards. Overall in fair condition. All volumes are present and bound together. With lovely black and white illustrations which do not appear to be bound in the correct order. The binding has some scuffing, wear and grubbiness. The pages are tanned with age and have some grubby marks and foxing (brown spotting). Most pages are stained and have water / damp marks. The last page has been re-backed.
