Halifax Area Georgian Stick Barometer
A Regency period English stick barometer. An oak case with chamfered case sides and an opening base cover. A pagoda pediment surmounted by 3 brass finials and side columns. A paper scale with weather predictions typical of those found in the Halifax area. Marked on the scales 'Fecit'. Circa 1825.
Height 37" / 95 cms Width 6 1/2 " / 16 cms Depth 2 " / 5 cms.
