A stunning Gustavsberg Argenta Ware vase and cover designed by William Kage.

It stands 28cm high and measures 27cm across from one handle to the other. Decorated to the front in silver with a naked female mandolin player, the reverse monogrammed with the letters E and H. It would seem that this vase was specially commissioned (see photo of label to base). The vase is in excellent condition and free from any damage/restoration. The knop to the lid has a chip and a hairline crack (see photos). These could easily be restored if required but in fact the vase is such a decorative piece the flaws are not noticeable and do not detract.

A rare and beautiful example of this type of ware. Stamped and silvered marks to base as shown.
