This is a very decorative pair of Chinese bamboo form sleeve vases, decorated in relief and Famille rose enamels with vases of flowers, on a bold yellow 'bamboo' ground. The vases have six-character Tongzhi (1862-1874) marks in iron-red to their base. These are in excellent original condition with no damage or restoration.

A most stylish and colourful pair with good impact at 26.5cms high by 11 cms in diameter.
