Good clean virtually unused Staunton pattern chess set in boxwood and probably ebonised beech. It is hard to tell for sure if the black pieces are Ebony or ebonised but I think they are probably ebonised. All the original finish and no damage.

SIZE Bases are 1 3/8" diameter, the king is 3 1/2" tall.
