Good Georgian 8" Wheel Barometer
A good quality 8" mahogany Sheraton wheel barometer. The mahogany veneered case is fitted with an architectural pediment, long thermometer box and is inlaid with good shell and flower paterea. The edge of the case is outlined with boxwood stringing and the deep sides are cross grain veneered, a sign of quality.
The silvered 8" dial is signed 'P.Pozzi & Co. Fecit'.
