Good French sleigh king size bed painted
This is a very good standard king size French sleigh double bed. It has been painted white in the factory and I would imagine was made in the last twenty years. The bed has a lot of quality. It is large and robust and is very beautiful with its sweeping curves.
The bed comes with its original long French screws and it bolts together tightly. It has two divan drawers in the base. You will just need to get some slats cut to go across the bed to form a base for your mattress. These are readily available from any builders merchants and are inexpensive. The bed takes a standard king size mattress. Dimensions below.
The bed is in good condition. Scuffing as you would expect in a vintage bed.
This is a very romantic looking bed. It would have cost a small fortune new. It will look wonderful in a modern or antique setting.
The bed splits for transport.
The bed takes a king size mattress up to 61 inches wide and 78 inches long. The headboard is 47 inches high and the footboard is 28 inches high.
