The Acme Thunderer Patent
The GNR operated from circa 1846 to 31st December 1922.
Approximate dimensions: length 5.6cm, weight 44.2 grams.
The Acme Thunderer was first developed in 1884 so this would probably date to 1880s/1890s, judging by the ornate style of the GNRY lettering.
Good working order.
Well used whistle but still in good condition.
