Georgian Wine Cooler
Good quality Georgian mahogany wine cooler with inlay and banding, standing on fine tapering legs and original brass castors. Circa 1800
The wine cooler is a great size piece for decor, could be used as a lamp table perhaps...
The mahogany is well figured and of a great quality, finished well with the inlaid shell you see to the top and banded throughout. Also, the cooler has its original brass carry handles and working lock with key.
I have cleaned and polished up the cooler, but not over restored it, so there are some signs of use / marks to the top...in my opinion, these don't detract and are as you would expect to find.
Solid and sturdy, castors in good working order too.
The internal partitions have been removed at some point in its lifetime, but it still gives you great storage for bottles / decanters.
Lovely piece of antique furniture, great colour being a paler mahogany and a decorative item.

27” or 69cm high
13 3/4” or 35cm wide
13 3/4” or 35cm deep
12 1/4” or 31cm max bottle height
