A tortoiseshell surgeons etui Circa 1780-1800.

This has bright cut decoration, silver push button to open silver plaque to top.

Motto to top Fortuna Favet, owners initials DW, medical staff.

Inside there are two tortoiseshell lancets both bearing the name to the blade Clark, Bath.

It is in remarkably good condition and closes shut well. There are signs of wear commensurate with age.
