Exceptional quality Georgian style mahogany drum table by the celebrated British cabinet maker William Tillman c.1970. Revolving 36″ diameter top with tooled leather surface over four working drawers and four dummy drawer fronts. On a turned column pedestal and four leg base with brass castors. Flame mahogany drawer fronts with solid mahogany drawer linings and brass handles. With a clear maker’s stamp to the top of one drawer front. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.

From 1969 until his retirement in the late 90’s William Tillman was known for producing reproduction antique furniture of the highest standard. His work was to be found in London’s top retailers, most notably on Harrod’s Furniture floor, and he won the British Furniture Manufacturers Showpiece of the Year award in three consecutive years (1976-78).
