A Georgian rosewood tea caddy c. 1790 with a canted top and two compartments inside.The compartments are lead lined.The beautiful veneer is Rio rosewood with boxwood edges and boxwood knobs to the lids inside. It has a working key. A very good example of the craftmanship of this era. Measures 7 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ x 5″ high.
