Good original Georgian oval mahogany "coopered" wine cooler with brass straps, standing on tapered legs and original brass castors.
The cooler is lined and looks good to me, but I haven't tested it and would leave that up to you to try, although I would recommend if you are to use this as a cooler to place another container inside to protect the cooler and your carpet in case of any leaks!
Lovely original condition and also has a nice old retailers stamp inside the lid.
Also a good size to use as a lamp table or side table.

25 1/4” or 64cm high
21” or 53.5cm wide
15” or 38cm deep

11 1/4” or 28.5cm internal height plus depth of lid Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
