A magnificent and showy George III Tea Caddy in the form of an Urn carved from solid Mahogany and standing on four very elegant cast claw and paw feet cast in Bronze as are the wonderful Lion's head handles with rope rings and the urn finial to the top. Just wonderful that all the original fittings are still intact.

This is exactly how it came to me (with tea inside!). A statement piece in excellent condition, with the footprint measuring 4", the lid diameter measuring 6" and standing 12 3/4" tall.
