A really fantastic Georgian (butlers) caddy,mahogany with heart shaped carrying handle, removeable lids and carved knobs .The angled lids have pear wood stringing and are still a perfect fit.
Condition is 1st class , original condition and colour.
Although a delicately designed piece,it was made as a work box,hence the carrying handle ,but it remains a heavy and sturdy piece.
Equally suited to a formal dining table for cheese / biscuits,sewing kit etc Brazil Antiques have been selling antiques,Silver and works of art for 35years to customers worldwide, with shops in London,Kent and Devon, my business now is online .
