Georgian Antique Pine Dresser from Lake District
Georgian Antique Pine Dresser from Lake District. Circa 1770.
This is a superb example of an 18th century antique pine dresser, originally made and used for centuries in the beautiful Lake District region in England.
The antique dresser is made in solid, well grained pine, almost like oak and is in the original pale paint finish.
The moulded top shelving/plate rack has four storage/display shelves with all the period, moulded plate bars present.
The base section has two fielded panel doors which flank the central flight of drawers.
Inside the two cupboards is an upper pine shelf.
The original backboards on the rack are lovely and wide.
Overall, an attractive, pale Georgian antique pine dresser from the Lake District and in very good condition.
