George IV Inlaid Rosewood Tea Caddy
Circa 1820, George IV rosewood and boxwood inlaid, sarcophagus shaped tea caddy. With shaped top with boxwood inlay, opening to a pair of lidded divisions with turned bone handles. The heraldic shaped escutcheon to the front and embossed lifting handles to sides, on elegant gilded paw feet with foliate casting.
