Circa 1760, good George III mahogany circular tripod occasional table. The solid mahogany top with its simple raised edge. Beneath the top there is a circular block, and from this the table sits on a very stylish turned column with a ring turn in the centre. Beneath this there is a fluted urn and 3 elegant cabriole legs finishing on a pad foot. At the back of the legs there is an unusual feature of an open section with scrolling mahogany which finishes on a paper scroll at one end. The underside of the tripod is finished with a mahogany disc with a slight tapering on it. The table has wonderful colour and patination.

Size 63cm high x 51cm diameter.
