A Georgian Painted Papier Mache Box with Gilt Mounts and Tortoiseshell Lined. The top has Picture under convex Glass depicting a Dog on what appears to be a Boat (?) the images have been made using fine Gold twist Wire and delicate Chains, it is surrounded by Flowers set with Cut Steel and painted with Pink Flowers and Swags.I believe the Image is set on to Glass or perhaps Porcelain.Dimensions are :- 8cms diam. C.!800-1820
