Geo III Mahogany 8" dial wheel Barometer
A very good George III Period Mahogany and Shell Inlaid eight inch dial wheel barometer signed Bernascheni & Monli, Leicester with silvered dial and thermometer scale.

Height: 38”, 97 cms.
Width:10”,25 cms
Depth: 2”,5 cms
These makers are listed in “English Barometers, 1680 to 1860” by Nicholas Goodison variously as “Bernaschoni and Monthi, Leicester. Wheel Barometer with 8 inch dial, mahogany, broken pediment, case inlaid with paterae of coloured woods, Stick Barometer with bulb cistern in mahogany, broken pediment. Probably identifiable with Barnaschoni and Monthi.”
