Gents Tissot Stylist wrist watch, 1968

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 792, which is working nicely. This particular calibre was in production from 1965 until 1972. There were several variations in this calibre family with the 792 being the manual wind, date display, no seconds.
The movement is fully signed and the serial number 10,030,768 dates it back to 1968.
The watch measures 34.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chrome plated and it is in lovely condition, just very slight wear around the angled bezel edge. Original Tissot winding crown. The inner case back is signed with the Tissot logo.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 9.30pm.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentatin box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
