Gents Tissot Seastar automatic wrist watch, 1973
Gents Tissot Seastar automatic wrist watch, 1973.
The watch has a calibre 2481 automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Tissot name and it has the serial number 16,186,475 which dates it back to 1973.
The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in very nice condition. Signed Tissot winding crown.
The lens is in lovely condition… there is a lot of reflection in the photos but that is all it is.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands… a little of the infill has come out of the minute hand but it is not too detrimental. Quickset date initially set by pushing the crown in repeatedly until the correct date is reached.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in its Tissot presentation box. The hinges are a little slack so it does not quite shut 100%.
