The watch has a fully signed 16-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 27B-1 which was in production from 1950 until 1961. The serial number on this particular watch, 3,265,445, dates it back to 1954.
The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the nicely shaped lugs which are a particularly charming feature of this watch. The main body of the case is chromium plated. There is wear and marking to the chrome plate, mainly to the back of the watch, but overall the condition is very acceptable for a 50s piece. The case back is signed with the Tissot name.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial has a little light marking but overall is in good condition with original dauphine shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
