The watch has a signed fully automatic 17-jewel movement which is working nicely. As with many Seiko watches, you can hear the rotor moving round.
The watch is a good wearable size at 36.5mm diameter excluding the lugs. The case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is some marking and wear to the plate but not too detrimental to the naked eye. The signed case back has reference numbers which dates it back to 1965.
The lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and centre seconds hand. The date feature is an early form of quickset where the hands are repeatedly turned backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 9pm until the desired date is reached.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
