Gents Roamer Searock automatic wrist watch
Gents Roamer Searock automatic wrist watch.
The watch has a signed 17-jewel automatic movement, a MST (Roamer) 523-1 with hacking which was in production in 1975/76, and it is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner cover.
The watch measures 37mm wide excluding the winding crown and 37mm high excluding the lugs. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition. The stainless steel screw-on case back is signed with the Roamer logo.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish which is in super condition. Original hands, centre seconds hand and quickset day / date display (both changed at first position). During the night, the date changes over between 12 midnight and 1am, the day changes over between 1am and 2.15am (they cannot both change over at the same time because of the power required).
A new leather strap has been fitted but the Roamer buckle has been retained.
The watch will be sent in a Roamer presentation box, it is a little tatty on the inside but still good to have. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
Please contact us before placing international orders so that we can advise of shipping prices and to see if customs regulations allow us to post watches to your country.
The international buyer is responsible for paying any import duties and taxes.
All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.
Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the \'Buy Securely\' button on each listing page.
We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
