Gents Omega Seamaster wrist watch, 1955.
The watch has a 17-jewel calibre 266 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Omega, and the serial number 14603529 dates it back to 1955. This calibre was in production from 1939 until 1963, with Incabloc shockproofing being introduced in 1943.
The watch is a good wearable size at 36mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in lovely condition with just light surface marking. The inside of the case back has the Omega logo together with the case reference 2791-6 Omega winding crown.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial has been professionally re-finished. Original dauphine shaped hands.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
