Gents early 1960s Bernex wrist watch
Gents early 1960s Bernex wrist watch.
The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Bernex name. The Bernex brand name was registered by Georges Bouverat & Co in 1954.
This particular watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and overall is in good condition, just the odd minor mark and some rubbing to the plate around the winding crown. The crown is a later replacement.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has a minor mark just above the centre but otherwise is in good condition.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
