Gents Bulova automatic wristwatch, 1967
A gents Bulova automatic wristwatch, 1967.
The watch has a signed 23-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. In the photo, you will see two empty screw holes... they are supposed to be empty as the screws are not required in this particular case.
The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs, it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is gold plated and has a stainless steel case back. The case is in good condition and the shaped lugs are a particularly handsome feature.
The lens is in good condition too
The signed dial is in good condition, perhaps just a little age related darkening. Original hands, centre seconds hand and an early form of quickset date where the hands are turned backwards and forwards repeatedly between 12 midnight and 9pm until the desired date is reached.
A later leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
