The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 6922, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Longines name and the serial number 52,117,548 dates it back to around 1974.
The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1975 with an importer's mark for Baume, the importers of Longines watches into the UK and the Commonwealth. The case is in good condition and there is a 1975 long service inscription to the back from the Hawker Siddeley, a
group of British manufacturing companies engaged in aircraft production.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in lovely original condition with original hands and subsidiary seconds dial.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
