Gents 1966 Longines automatic wristwatch
A gents 1966 Longines automatic wristwatch.
The watch has a calibre 345 automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement has the remains of the Longines logo together with the serial number 13,498,636 which dates it back to 1966. As the rotor is on a ratchet, you can hear it moving round.
The watch itself measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just a few light scratches to the back. The screw-on case back is signed on both the inside and the outside… it states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage, it should be kept away from water. The winding crown is a later replacement.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed silvered dial, with the applied Longines wings logo, is in good condition. The date is initially set by winding the hands forwards.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
