Gents 1950s MuDu wrist watch.
The watch has a Swiss 25-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is a little rubbing to the plate but you have to look closely to see it. The case back has some scratching where a tool has slipped in the past.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in very nice original condition with original dauphine hands, a seconds sweep and a date display… this is an early form of date display where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 9pm until the desired date is reached.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
