Gents 1950s 14ct gold Girard Perregaux 1791 watch
A gents late 1950s 14ct gold Girard Perregaux 1791 wrist watch.
The watch has a signed 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 91, which is working nicely.
The watch itself measures 25mm wide excluding the winding crown and 29mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 14ct gold and is stamped with the GP initials inside the case back. The case is in good condition with just a couple of minor marks. The case back has a linen effect finish. The finish to the winding crown has marking / pitting.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial has been re-finished to a very high standard. There is a little marking to the number markers if viewed through a jeweller’s loupe.
A later leather strap has been fitted... there is some marking to the strap so, if preferred, we could fit a new leather strap.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
