Gents 1940s Cyma wrist watch
Gents 1940s Cyma wrist watch.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement, Cyma calibre 234, which is working nicely.
The watch measures 30mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30mm high excluding the fixed lugs. The case is gold filled and was made by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. There are some minor surface marks, and a little unevenness to the back of the watch, but overall very acceptable for a 1940s piece.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There is some darkening to the dial finish and some fading to the numbers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
