Iconic G Plan Oval Astro Coffee Table by Victor Wilkins
Beautiful solid teak coffee table with stylish curved legs supporting an oval top with inset glass. This table is extremely well made, in a lovely warm teak colour with beautiful grain. It's a great shape to fit in front of a sofa and would look fantastic in a vintage-style or modern interior.
The Astro range was designed by Victor Wilkins for UK antique furniture manufacturer G Plan in the 1960s and has become iconic. The oval is a more rare table than the round Astro.
This table is in excellent original condition, with its original factory finish and glass. It retains its G Plan sticker underneath, and is stamped with its model number. It has been oiled and finished with a protective wax. There are a few very minor marks to the wood and some scratches to the original glass. I'm happy to provide a quote for new, toughened safety glass - please message me if you would prefer this. Please examine the photographs and ask us any questions.
