Antique French burr walnut marble top cabinet in excellent condition with plenty of storage inside. It has a serpentine shaped front with canted corners & plenty of gilt bronze mounts all over including on the feet. There are also various satinwood inlays. On the doors are two oval rosewood panels with beautiful floral marquetry made up from many exotic woods. Inside this cabinet is one shelf with a brass gallery & a light, which will need to be re-wired for legal reasons, because it probably dates from the 1950’s period. The marble top which just lifts off the cabinet is a lovely colour, in good condition & is original to this piece. This cabinet would make a great drinks cabinet & it has nice slim proportions from back to front.
