French Red Fox Taxidermy Stick or Umbrella Stand

A Very Unusual piece of 19th Century quirkiness, this superb example of a Red Fox has been mounted in the rampant position ready to pounce on his prey. He has glass eyes and an excellent set of very sharp teeth, his front feet are resting on a blacksmith made iron stick stand mounted on an Oak plinth.
This piece is in excellent condition, it is 29”(73cm) high, 34”(87cm) overall length and 16”(40cm) wide
